TVET Quality Council (TVET QC)

Mandates
  • Develop and revise the National Competency Standards and set TVET Qualifications,
  • Regulate quality of TVET training providers and programmes through Registration and Accreditation services,
  • Regulate quality of TVET Trainers, Assessors, Accreditors, Quality Management System(QMS) Auditors,
  • Facilitate Quality Management System (QMS) certification of the Training Providers
  • Conduct National Assessment including RPL for the award of TVET qualifications.

  2. Endorse Accreditation of TVET Courses

  4. Endorse Quality Management System (QMS) certified TVET ProvidersConstitute time-bound technical working groups as and when necessary to develop standards, guidelines and regulatory tools and recommend to the Governing Council on technical aspects for efficient regulatory enforcement.
